Gemma Alonso de la Sierra is an artist and illustrator based in Cádiz, Spain. 
Trained at the University of Edinburgh and Cambridge School of Art, she has developed 
a regular practice of observational drawing and writing that feeds into both her digital 
illustrations and her oil paintings. Her work is driven by a deep interest in the human 
figure and in building atmosphere, and it carries a spirit of experimentation 
across drawing, printmaking and painting.

That same spirit of exploration shapes the sketching and image-making workshops
she runs, where she invites students to experiment freely with different media.
